Most recent in the line of offerings from Xikar, the Executive Lighter offers a sleek, sophisticated appearance, with a sensible ignition trigger along the side of the lighter, allowing the smoker to avoid finger burns caused by the flame or heat build-up from traditional triggers closer to the flame. Pressing the side trigger causes a protective cover to slide out of view, allowing a powerful jet flame to fire up even the largest of ring gauges.
The Executive is currently available in five striking finishes: black, silver, gun metal (my favorite), red and blue, and is accompanied by a protective soft, black leather sheath. Affordably priced at $24.99, this new lighter is within reach of even the most budget-conscious cigar smoker. Accompanied by the Xikar lifetime warranty, this new lighter is a wonderful compliment to the Xikar line of accessories.

This lighter is shaped with an ample width for smoker’s who prefer larger lighters, with an oversized wheel at the base for flame adjustments. Although the tank is adequate for a lighter this size, frequent smokers (four or more cigars daily), may be filling the tank a bit more often than preferred.
The resilience of this new lighter was recently demonstrated by a local store manager who left his Executive in his pocket through the laundry wash and dry cycles. After discovering his blunder, he was delighted to find the lighter sparked right up as if it had just been removed from the box with no apparent ill effects.
